Só nos alfarrabistas era possível adquirir, até há pouco, Descobri que era europeia – Impressões duma viagem à América, agora reeditado pela Editorial Notícias, livro injusta - mente esquecido de Natália Correia. A viagem de Natália aos Estados Unidos efectuou-se em plena Guerra Fria: Junho de 1949. O texto está datado de Agosto de 1950. A primeira edição veio a lume em 1951, com a chancela da Portugália.
