Abstract
In the book "The Aftermath of Feminism: gender, culture and social change", Angela McRobbie wrote a analysis of feminism in contemporary Britain, arguing about influence of mass media and political consequences of post feminism to young women. The author analyzed the feminist concepts have been incorporated into individual life, so word like 'empowerment' is then converted into a much more individualistic discourse, and not more collective discourse. The book is important because it explains the contemporary feminism and political consequences of this social movement to young women.
