About the Journal

The Journal of Political Science is a biannual periodical published by the Faculty of Law and Political Science at Lusófona University—Porto University Center.

It is an academic and scientific journal whose primary purpose is to publish articles on political science, philosophy, history, and other related humanities and social sciences, such as economics, international relations, and sociology, among others.

Its editorial approach will be guided by absolute scientific rigor and complete political and ideological independence from the established powers, as well as by respect for the ethical principles
applicable to a publication of this type.

The journal will be grounded in the fundamental values of the democratic rule of law that the revolution of August 24, 1820, introduced in Portugal.
