Os autores do conceito de «televisão cerimonial» reflectem neste artigo sobre as comemorações e as homenagens em torno de Diana de Gales, que consideram como «peregrinações, encontros com um “sagrado” definido em termos de inacessibilidade». Diana desempenha aqui o papel de «um começo, de uma entrada, de uma ligação entre os mundos, representa o ponto em que as grandes periferias podem, de pleno direito, e sem sanção violenta, aproximar-se da ostentação, da «pompa e circunstância».Downloads
