Da Realidade à Ficção: A Cobertura Notíciosa da Guerra no Iraque

Abstract

Acompanhamos a invasão do Iraque pelos E.U.A pelos media. Mas as fontes que presta - ram informações à comunicação social norteamericana foram em esmagadora maioria próguerra e oficiais. Os repórteres «embedded» foram rigorosos? Alguns jornalistas que viveram esta situação acharam que a resposta pode ser negativa. A verdade é que a elaboração da realidade no discurso jornalístico tem consequências nessa própria realidade, reconstruindo-a e modificando-a permanentemente.
