Abstract
Com a morte de Carl Einstein, em 1940, consumou-se um desaparecimento voluntário, a que está sempre ligado uma secreta vontade de desaparecer e de não deixar traços. Com o desprezo pelo «eu» que caracterizou aqueles que assistiram ao colapso da revolução europeia, Einstein entregava-se ao comum, à gramática colectiva, a que ele próprio se refere no extraordinário epitáfio que dedicou a Durruti1. Ele é um habitante de essa memória do comum e da sua gramática universal, envolto por uma cortina de silêncio que se abateu sobre ele, e que durou demasiadamente.Downloads
