Information For Librarians
Temas Sociais Journal invites academic, research, and specialized libraries to include the journal in their open access electronic journal catalogues.
As an open access scientific journal, Temas Sociais Journal promotes the wide dissemination of academic and scientific knowledge, contributing to the visibility of scholarly production in the fields of the social and human sciences, with particular emphasis on social work, social policy, and social intervention.
The journal is published using the Open Journal Systems (OJS) platform, an internationally recognized system for the management and publication of peer-reviewed scholarly journals, widely adopted by libraries and higher education institutions worldwide.
For further information about Open Journal Systems (OJS) and the Public Knowledge Project (PKP), which develops and maintains the platform, libraries are encouraged to consult the relevant institutional websites.
Temas Sociais adopts international best editorial practices, ensuring interoperability, persistent identification, and the digital preservation of its contents. The journal uses the OAI-PMH protocol for metadata dissemination, assigns DOIs (Digital Object Identifiers) to published articles, is configured for indexing in Google Scholar, and ensures long-term digital preservation through the PKP Preservation Network (PKP PN).
