"LOCAL COMPANIES" and "GROUPS OF COMPANIES": A COMPARISON

Abstract

Abstract: With eyes set on art. 19 of the Legal Regime for Local Business Activity and Local Holdings (RJAEL), approved by Law No. 50/2012, of 31 August, the article makes (one) a comparison between the commercial companies regime (anonymous and quota), which are said to be local companies, and the main aspects of the global regulation on “groups of companies” contained in arts. 481 to 508 CSC.
