A Escola: (também) um espaço de afectos
Abstract
“Estamos educando a nuestros jóvenes en la totalidad de su ser, em todas sus potencialidades?” (Ramos, 2001, p.15) Esta questão, colocada pelo autor na introdução do seu livro Educación Integral: una educación holística para el siglo XXI, pela sua pertinência e abrangência, merece uma reflexão profunda por parte de todos aqueles para quem as questões da educação fazem parte da sua agenda pessoal e profissional. Com este texto pretende-se dar um contributo para esse exercício reflexivo. Se pela educação se pretende promover o desenvolvimento integral e harmonioso do educando, é imperativo assumir a interdependência entre os processos cognitivos e afectivos e, como tal, equacionar o papel dos afectos na relação pedagógica e na profissionalidade docente.
