Educação e transformação social hoje: alguns desafios político-pedagógicos
Abstract
O artigo discute as possibilidades e os limites de
uma pedagogia transformadora hoje. A reflexão
inicia com uma tentativa de identificar algumas
características da educação de nosso tempo. São
destacados dois fatos como possíveis norteadores
de um exercício de síntese: a chamada crise das
utopias e a reconfiguração dos tempos e dos lugares
de ensinar e aprender, colocando em xeque
principalmente o papel clássico da escola. Dentre
os desafios, que ao mesmo tempo se colocam
como horizonte, são destacados: a) a necessidade
de ouvir as muitas vozes de dissenso, entre elas
aquelas silenciadas; b) o empenho por transformar
os espaços educativos, novos e antigos, em ethos
de humanização; c) assumir a pluralidade de tempos
como uma oportunidade de alargar a visão e
fazer espaço em nossos mundos de vida para a
diversidade de experiências.
