Abstract
Nesta entrevista, conduzida por Darlinda Moreira, emerge o papel pioneiro de Rui Canário, sobretudo no campo da Educação de Adultos e na sua intervenção cívica associada, mas também no que nos ensinou ao longo de gerações, mostrando que os atos, as posições e os ideários são indissociáveis dos interesses profissionais e exemplificando como as opções e princípios de vida são importantes, tanto na obra pedagógica como no desenvolvimento e afirmação do cientista social.
