O olhar do novo herói digital
Abstract
Esta investigação analisa a representação do personagem digital no desenvolvimento da trama dos filmes de género de fantasia, ação e aventura: Jake de Avatar, César de Planeta dos Macacos e Hulk. Os personagens digitais com o sistema MoCap, captura de movimento por um ator humano, oferecem aos filmes de fantasia, aventura e ação uma nova perspetiva no que respeita ao entendimento da história e do personagem, e por esse motivo foi considerado importante aprofundar o conhecimento deste novo “herói” digital. Um herói que passa pelo mesmo arco de transformação dos heróis humanos, com características físicas, psicológicas, sociais e de ação que os distingue do seu par humano. Por meio de extensa bibliografia e estudo qualitativo de entrevistas semiestruturadas a especialistas, este alinha-se com diversas teorias que refletem que argumentos e personagens se anulam no que diz respeito à componente de dominância. Em paralelo a esta temática é dado destaque à importância da mensagem e a relação com o espetador. Por possuírem os valores humanos, da ética, da moral, da cidadania, da própria humanidade há muito perdidos pelos humanos, infere-se que possam ser os melhores interlocutores na passagem destas mensagens chave.
